Belize does not have a national airline, but carriers such as American Airlines and Continental Airlines offer services from a few North American airports. Direct flights from London are not available, and connections through Miami are one of the most popular routes to Belize.

Flights from London to Belize City via Miami take approximately 12 hours, though this can be increased by quite a lot depending on how long the stay in Miami has to be. Miami to Belize City takes around two hours. Belize City's international airport offers taxis and bus services into town, and facilities include bars, banks, gift shops and restaurants, amongst other things.
